South Redlands

A bustling city with plenty of exciting shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities.

Welcome to South Redlands

A luxurious enclave amid rolling California hills.

While the heart of South Redlands is a bustling city with plenty of exciting shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities, the outer edges of town are where things tend to slow down. Here, dense suburban neighborhoods give way to sprawling hillside villas on large, private lots, many of them with spectacular views.

If you're shopping for a home within minutes of everything a vibrant city offers but seemingly miles away from its fast-paced lifestyle, you'll find what you're looking for in South Redlands. And because this is a relatively new area of homes, you'll enjoy modern amenities and spend more time enjoying—rather than renovating—your property.

Dining, Entertainment, & Shopping

You’re never far from some of the best culinary hotspots, shopping opportunities, and entertainment venues in South Redlands. Greensleeves Steakhouse is South Redlands' favorite place for upscale dining; their tomahawk steaks are sublime, and locals will recommend the truffle macaroni and cheese as a must-have side dish.

You’ll find the best shopping at Citrus Plaza and Mountain Grove Shopping Center, where there are familiar high-quality restaurants as well as local favorites, including J Riley Distillery. Best known for its libations and traditional pub fare, it's also a popular spot for live music.

If you love antique and vintage furniture and home accessories, stop at The Red Rooster. You'll find yourself centering your entire home decor around some of the treasures you will find here.

Things to Do

Redlanders once celebrated Market Night on Thursdays, but the popular event featuring local shop vendors has been combined with the local Farmer's Market for a new, exciting downtown Saturday Market scheduled to begin in the spring of 2023.

The annual Redlands Theatre Festival in Prospect Park is a South Redlands tradition each summer. The tiny stage is inspired by Shakespeare's "home" stage, the Globe Theatre in London. Then there's the annual Redlands Bicycle Classic, a multi-stage, multi-day road bike race that draws cyclists worldwide.

Other points of interest are Burrage Mansion and Kimberly Crest House & Gardens, both opulent historical estates that offer tours and bookings for private events. And if you're an avid golfer, you might consider membership at Redlands Country Club
